This Cookie Policy explains how Drubix ("we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Drubix website at drubix.com and in the Drubix application at app.drubix.com (together, the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features that let a website keep small pieces of data on your device; session storage is cleared when you close the tab. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.
Cookies are either strictly necessary (needed to provide something you've asked for, such as staying signed in) or non-essential (for example analytics or advertising). Non-essential cookies require your consent in many countries; strictly necessary ones don't.
Without your consent, drubix.com sets no cookies. It stores only your cookie choice (see below). Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them.

If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) to measure visits, traffic sources and which pages are useful, and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) to see aggregated heatmaps and anonymised session replays that show where pages are confusing. Clarity masks text you type into forms. We've switched off Google Signals and ad personalisation, and we don't use either tool for advertising.

Our pages load fonts (Poppins, Inter and IBM Plex Mono) from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and standard browser information. Google states that the Google Fonts service does not set cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, the email address you enter is sent to app.drubix.com to record your subscription. No cookie is set.
When you sign in, the app stores the following in your browser. All of them are strictly necessary and are used only by Drubix.

Because these items are kept by your browser and only read by Drubix's own pages, they can't be used to track you across other websites. Apart from Paddle (section 6), the app does not set any cookies. Like the website, the app loads its fonts from Google Fonts (section 4).
Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd., our merchant of record. The app loads Paddle.js, Paddle's payment library, so that checkout can open when you upgrade or update your payment method, and the billing portal is hosted by Paddle. Paddle.js and Paddle's checkout may set cookies or use browser storage that are strictly necessary to process payments securely and to prevent fraud. We don't control these cookies or receive the information they hold. See Paddle's Privacy Policy for details.
Separately from cookies, our servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) for security and operations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
On drubix.com, click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to accept or reject analytics cookies again. If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics and Clarity cookies on drubix.com and stop loading both tools. Cookies Microsoft set on its own domains can be removed in your browser settings.
You can also view and delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser's settings, and most browsers let you block them for specific sites. Clearing site data for app.drubix.com signs you out, and blocking storage there means you can't stay signed in. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
If we add any other non-essential cookies or change how we use analytics, we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent again before setting them. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
